Now a day it costs a lot of money to take your Harley to a repair shop. If your like me, you prefer to tackle mechanical problems yourself and save tons of money. One of the most helpful resources when working on a motorcycle is a good tech book for the “do it yourselfers”. Everyone seems to have their favorite book that helps them through difficult questions and instructs them on how to properly install, remove, or repair certain parts on the bike. My favorite tech book is The Custom Chopper Cookbook. I could read this book all day long. Does anyone else have a favorite tech book they often look at? If so, what is it?

I need some feedback on a 2006 King Classic with a mustang seat. I am interested in possibly changing the handlebars because of the inconvenience of having to lean forward while driving it. After driving my bike this way, my back starts to ache. I would like to sit up straight while driving. I’m thinking of getting Heritage bars. What does everyone else think? Does anyone have them on their bike now?

I am having problems with a 1994 Road King. Currently it has 32,000 miles and lately I’ve noticed that the oil in the primary drive case seems to be disappearing. I looked to see if there was any oil leaks from the primary and there was none. I also noticed that the oil level in the gear box doesn’t seem to be moving, so what’s going on? Does anyone have any ideas? The only thing that might be causing the problem is the oil could be going into the crankcase through the crankshaft seal. This would incorporate it into the engine oil. Do you think this is what’s happening?

I realize it is very imortant to keep the chain oiled at all times.  I have been told to warm the chain and lube it every 500 miles.  I try very hard to avoid getting any on the tires and will ride the bike right after to work it in properly.  Does anyone else have any other suggestions they'd like to share? 

I was wondering if anyone can offer a solution to a bike that starts for awhile, then suddenly stops.  There have been days when it starts up perfect.  Then suddenly a few days later, it starts up and stalls again.  When it stalls, it very hard to get it started.  Any suggestions?

I was wondering what features are on a Harely Davidson knucklehead engine?  Basically, I want to know what makes it distinguishable from other engines.

I've been looking at the V-Rod VRSCA and was wondering if anyone knows how much money do they cost and what the specs are.

From what I understand, the new 2008 models have  high performance Brembo brakes and factory installed ABS option.  Also the fuel capacity of all  models has ncreased by 20 percent, from five to six gallons.  I'm sure there's more stuff athey dded on to the 2008 models, but that's all I am aware of.

I was wondering if someone can provide some useful information on the pros and cons of a Road Glide.  I think its a good looking bike, but would be interested on what others think about it.

I was wondering if the sportster is too small of a bike for someone who is over 6 ft tall?  Having a comfortable ride is important, so I would be interested if anyone has their own personal experience with a sportster.
