We gassed up the bike and cleaned the windshield in Ozona before hitting the road around 9:45. It was a cool and pleasant morning for riding, with sunny skies and light wind. The bike liked the cool air and oil pressure was good. Geoff suggests an oil cooler for these climes and I wholeheartedly agree. The grades were gentle and the scenery green and lush. What a welcome change.
We rode into San Antonio around 12:45 and found Jason’s place 15 minutes later with no trouble. The city is big with a great freeway system. We drove right by the Alamodome. It was great to see Jason and meet his girlfriend, Misty (that’s her given name). Then it was a short hop to the local pub called the Trap for some cold brews and pool. I can still whoop the kid most games. Jason and Misty fixed us a nice dinner and we visited for a while. Tomorrow we plan to visit the Alamo and the Riverwalk, then visit some more when Jason gets home from work.

Meeting up sounds great to me too. The trip sounds like it has been an adventure. The ride in on 10 is a long boring ride until you hit Bend and the park. The pines are beautiful. I hit it a dawn after driving all night what a site. Are you going to New Orleans on 10? Long drive but worth the it.
Great that you got to see Jason and his new gal.
He didn’t have a broke down chevy truck you needed to help him fix?

glad to hear the trip is still going great. Domino has disappeared somewhere around my house - she just did not want to play with poor Brandy (who is not heartbroken). Cassi has been carefully sneaking around the house in case she runs into the new kid on the block. what a riot. take care you two!

Does this have to be a picture of the WordPress logo in a unique location (similar to your example pictures) or can it be a graphical reinterpretation of the WordPress logo (e.g. a sketch that incorporates the logo, but the logo is part of the sketch and not the original logo image)? Looks like a fun contest either way!
