There is a wide range of Harley-Davidson accessories that can be purchased, for any one who owns this kind of motorcycle. However, there is no need to go out and buy all of them in order to get the desired look that one may wish to attain. It would be ideal to purchase a rider's essential kit.

I loved the Alamo but had problems with it being next to a department store. The riverwalk was fun - i spent St Patricks day on it and then another year shrove tuesday. we did the Mission trail both times we were there. that's where you see what the Alamo looked like when it was built. out in the desert. Got to see a Mariachi wedding one year at one of the old missions.

see you guys soon.

The Alamo was there long before San Antonio - leave it to the Texans to build a city around an historical monument.

The Riverwalk is amazing. I liked San Antonio. When we were there we stayed at the Fairmount. NICE hotel. Of course we weren't on a bike.

Jason looks great. Glad you got to spend some time with him!

Later Gator!

I recall my first visit to San Antonio, I flew in about 10 PM, was driven to my downtown motel, wasn't ready to sleep, so I called the front desk, asking how far it was to the Alamo. (thinking I might catch a cab)

The operator paused, and said "you're on room 432 (or what ever number it was)" I said, "yes", she said, "look out your window and directly at the ground.." and there is was, directly across the street from my hotel..

So I went for the late night tour that included the "the basement of the Alamo"....

Hi, I know how you feel about seeing the Alamo. I think it's a bit surreal because it's right in the middle of town, it was directly out the door from out hotel. I had always envisioned it in the middle of the desert. Now it appears just like any other tourist center. Enjoy the rest of your trip!
