Cam Chain Tensioner

Cam Chain Tensioner
The cam chain on your Harley Davidson motorcycle is also known as the timing chain. This chain needs to be adjusted every 3,000 miles or whenever it becomes noisy when riding. A noisy cam chain is caused by wearing of the chain, over time, which can make it loose. If the chain is not adjusted, the noise will only get louder. You can adjust the tension of the cam chain by making adjustments to the cam chain tensioner on the bike.
