Usedhogparts on Facebook!

Lastly, I am happy to announce our new Usedhogparts Facebook Page where our Harley Lovers can post in discussions, check out live mini-feeds on Harley updates and stay informed on all Harley events.  We have a Usedhogparts Myspace Page as well, but some of you prefer one over the other so now you have the option of checking out Usedhogparts in both locations!  Check it out and tell your friends about it!

Weekly Reminders!

I’d like to also mention a couple of reminders to all of you.  We have been getting a lot of emails from people who are looking for specific parts for their Harley’s and I want to direct all of you to our Parts Wanted section.  That is the place to post what it is you are looking for and also check to see if someone else has it.  If you can’t locate the part there then try using our search section to locate your part.  Usedhogparts.com is a venue where users can buy and sell bikes and parts. But Usedhogparts.com does not keep a stock of parts or bikes on hand, so if you are looking for a part, we encourage you to browse the parts on the site.

I’d also like encourage all of you to post questions, thoughts, updates and reviews on our Usedhogparts Forum!  Our forum is the place to give and get back from our Harley Community.  We want to hear about all of your Harley experiences, events and questions!  If you have a special Harley event that you would like to share please post it on our Events Calendar.

We are excited to be bringing you some new features that will keep you on your toes here at Usedhogparts.com! 

I’m sure we can all agree that all of you are pretty wise when it comes to Harley Trivia, right?  Well let’s test out that theory!  Soon Usedhogparts.com will be offering Harley Trivia Quizzes that will test just how much of a Hog-Head you really are!  We will also being adding popularity surveys.  These features will be added soon to the right panel of our homepage. 

In addition, we are going to select popular Harley topics for each week.  Our articles, forum, blog and newsletter will all be focused on the topic chosen for each week.  For example, one week will be about Women and Motorcycling and the next about Softails, and so on and so forth. 

The focus this week will be the 2009 Sportster Models!  The Sportster has received numerous updates for the 2009 model year and we want to keep all of you informed!  For instance, all 2009 Sportster models have been improved with new front fenders.  The goal is to provide a new low-profile front fender that hugs the tire for a streamlined, custom look.  Want to know more? We are proud to announce that we are launching our first newsletter this week. It’s been a work in process and finally it’s been completed.  Our newsletter is in place to keep all Usedhogparts.com members informed of new articles, new parts, new features, and other updates. If you haven’t already subscribed to our mailing list, please do so!

We would also like to announce that Usedhogparts.com is now a member of the Myspace Community. In an effort to broaden our Harley Davidson community we have created a Myspace page (www.myspace.com/usedhogparts) so that unfound Harley Davidson enthusiasts can join in the fun that Usedhogparts.com can offer.  If you have a Myspace account and would like to join our network and/or our Usedhogparts.com group, please friend request us!

Today we are excited to introduce our new Harley Events Calendar!! You can access the calendar on the lower left panel of this page.  All members have access to this calendar and can add new events that you feel suit this site and its members.  We encourage you to add any and all biker events that haven’t already been added. 

So far we have information on many of the huge bike events coming up in 2009 which include the 2009 Milwaukee Motorcycle Rally celebrating the 106th Anniversary of Harley Davidson this September, as well as other major bike rallies such as the Myrtle Beach Bike Rally, the Sturgis Rally, Laconia Motorcycle Week, and Daytona Beach Bike Week.

Keep in mind; it’s not all about the major events.  We want all of you to post your upcoming events i.e. group rides, poker runs, community/charity events, H.O.G. meetings and other Harley Davidson related activities.  Everyone likes to stay informed so let’s put in a helping hand!

I’d also like to remind everyone to check in with our Harley Article’s Section because we are in the process of updating our articles with the newest and latest information on all Harley related information, reviews, travel, maintenance and more! In the next coming months our Harley Davidson Library should be looking better then ever.
