User Review & Reminder

Thursday, November 27th, 2008

The webguy has been busy and you will notice that there is now a user rating/review system associated with each member’s account allowing for feedback.

As a reminder there are individuals that will use legitimate websites and try to take advantage of users, please express caution and discretion in transactions.

We are doing our best to mitigate this problem.

Usedhogparts (UHP) Harley Community Update

Friday, November 21st, 2008

Thanks for the responses and I appreciate your efforts in helping usedhogparts become a valued Harley Davidson resource. Continue with the forum posts, blog comments and suggestions.

Some basic information. Usedhogparts provides a venue, a website where users can post new or used Harley parts and/or bikes for sale. Usedhogparts.com does not keep an “on-hand” inventory of parts or bikes. If you are looking for a part, we encourage you to browse the parts on the site.

Also, if you are in need of a specific part(s):

1. Log into or create your free account. http://www.usedhogparts.com/login

2. Go to “parts wanted” page, http://www.usedhogparts.com/parts-wanted and list the part(s) you are looking for.

3. Another option is to use the forum http://www.usedhogparts.com/forum

At the forum you can:

  • post questions, seek advice
  • post answers to previous questions
  • provide feedback or ideas of features you’d like to see
  • share tips, travel ideas
  • if interested, contact us to become a forum moderator
Finally, since my last entry we have added the UHP Store, offering T-Shirts and other miscellaneous stuff. I had a graphic designer came up with some nice designs using the usedhogparts logo, so check it out.

A Harley Community – Are you Involved?

Friday, November 14th, 2008

We have updated the look of the usedhogparts website and the webguy has improved the behind the scenes technical stuff. There are still numerous features that we are working on and we’ll steadily “roll out”. Some will be bigger, more noticeable than others. As we integrate new features we’ll post them on our Blog so check back for updates.

Now, to make usedhogparts a true community site, we can use your help. I would like the forum to be a dynamic, informative resource and you can help! Simply log into or create your account and post to the forum.

  • post questions
  • post answers to previous questions
  • provide feedback or ideas of features you’d like to see
  • share tips, travel ideas
  • if interested, contact us to become a forum moderator

Thanks for using our site. Please keep coming back and participate in making usedhogparts a true community site.
