2009 Custom Vehicle Operations Model Year
Without a doubt Harley-Davidson motorcycles have stood the test of time. Even with the economy causing sales to be down, Harley-Davidson continues to improve its line of factory custom models. For those who are unfamiliar, Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO’s) offers complete models featuring Screaming Eagle parts. Each of the '09 CVO models brings something unique to its riders.
Harley-Davidson has an easy time selling its entire share of CVO SE bikes each year even though CVO’s are quite pricey. But this is because these machines are quite different from their more standard counterparts. This year, each of the CVO models comes equipped with a fuel-injected 1800cc Screamin' Eagle Twin Cam 110 engine and an exclusive granite powder coat. The granite power coat definitely differentiates the engine from the V-Twins in lesser models. Furthermore, the newly-enlarged mill is mated to a six-speed tranny across the entire CVO line. From there, the improved features branch into four separate models for 2009.
