How to Distinguish a Harley Davidson Heritage
The FLSTC Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic boasts 1940s-style leather saddlebags with quick-detach buckles; air-cooled Twin Cam 96B engine; chrome plated directional light bar with chrome passing lamps; full FL front fender with chrome accents; mode name badging; quick-release detachable king-size Lexan windshield; passenger backrest; and running lights.
Chassis
The brakes are 4-piston up front and 2-piston on the rear. It has a lean angle f 26.0 degrees / 29.0 degrees. The exhaust system is chrome, with staggered shorty exhaust with dual mufflers.

Electrical
The Harley Davidson Heritage motorcycle has tank-mounted speedometer with an odometer, a clock and dual resettable tripmeter.
Its indicator lamps include 6-speed, low fuel warnings, engine diagnostics, front fender running lights, high beam, low oil pressure, neutral, optional security system, and turn signals.
Gauges and Controls
There are only a few easy-to-handle controls in the Heritage. There are the integrated turn signal controls; the fuel gauge; the electronic speedometer; and an optional hands free security system.
The self-canceling turn signals can sense the movement and motion of the bike and gives the rider more control of the motorcycle.
Power train
Its power train includes Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection or ESPFI Standard; air-cooled, rigid-mounted, 1584cc Twin Cam 96B balanced engine, and 6-speed cruise drive transmission.

For Vivid Black Heritage Softail motorcycles, you will be spending $17,945. For color, $18,290. For two-tone, $18,600. For custom color, $18,770. The 10th Anniversary Copper Pearl/Vivid Black will cost $19,270.
An additional security system option will cost you $345.
Ride and Storage
The Heritage also features a quick detach windshield; chrome, classic Touring handlebars; 5.0-galleon fuel tank; 4-piston and 2-piston rear brake system; full-length rider footboards with heel/toe shift levers; two-piece, two-up Softail classic seat with removable pillion; standard passenger foot pegs; Softail suspension; leather saddlebags with quick detach buckles; and passenger backrest.
The Softail footboards provide more flexibility and comfort in foot placement.
Styling
In style, the Heritage features chrome auxiliary lamps; FL hydraulic forks; chrome, laced wheels; chrome hub cover; full wrap front fender; black powder-coated engine with chrome covers; chrome, staggered exhaust with shorty dual mufflers; and full wrap rear fender.
For the 105th Anniversary treatment, the Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail motorcycle is released in serialized, limited edition in rich copper and black paint styles. It also includes a 105th Anniversary serialized plaque indicating the production number of the motorcycle, a tank cloisonné with copper Harley-Davidson bar and shield logo; air cleaner and timer cover inserts, and copper vinyl inserts on seats and pillions.
